Team & settings
This guide covers client-side administration: managing users and workspaces, roles, passwords, and the key company profile and account settings.
What it's for
- Team & workspaces — adding users, assigning them to workspaces, renaming workspaces.
- Roles: the account administrator (client_admin) manages the profile, team and budget and approves content; a team member works in their assigned workspaces; read-only access is also available.
- Passwords — a new user sets their password from a link in the welcome e-mail; an administrator can reset a password (the user must change it at next login).
- Company profile — brand data, competitors, integrations (shop, WordPress/Webflow, Cloudflare, analytics), research market.
- Account — your display name, panel language, password.
How to start
The number of users and workspaces depends on your package — see Limits. For most companies one workspace is enough; separate workspaces make sense for separate brands, markets or agency clients.
Step by step
Adding a user
- Open Team & workspaces (as the account administrator).
- Add the user: e-mail, role, the workspaces they should access.
- The user receives a welcome e-mail with a password setup link — you never send passwords manually.
Password reset
- On the team list, pick the user → reset password.
- Hand over the temporary password through a secure channel; at first login the system forces them to set their own.
Settings worth knowing
- Research market (company profile) — the country web search "stands in" during checks; per workspace.
- Panel language (Account) — independent of the research market and report language.
- Time zone — affects date display and schedules.
The Enterprise package offers SSO login (OIDC/SAML), automated account management (SCIM) and custom roles. Details — in the Trust & compliance section.
FAQ
What's the difference between a workspace and an account? The account (tenant) is your company and contract; a workspace is an isolated data set — its own profile, maps, checks, reports. A user only sees the workspaces they've been assigned to.
Who can approve content? The account administrator. Team members create and edit content and submit it for approval.
I forgot my password — what now? Ask your account administrator for a reset. Administrators locked out of the account contact us through their customer success manager.
Can I rename a workspace? Yes — the account administrator renames it inline on the workspace bar or in the team panel.
